Unbelieveable...I've been fishing the Temple Basin religiously for years, and I don't think I have ever seen a boil. I've seen a few in the Boulder Basin but not in the Temple Basin. That's simply amazing to me. Glad you got to experience that. I have to admit that I don't typically go that far from Temple Bar because I'm usually in a houseboat. I typically anchor at Delmar Butte, the Teal Coves, (behind the) Temple, Gateway Cove, and Channel Island. Perhaps, I'll have to venture out to Jawbone next time. I was looking at the satellite images of the Jawbone shoreline, and it looks fairly shallow in a lot of areas. Are there any large coves in the area which you would recommend? I'm in a 50' houseboat so I have to make sure I'm in a nice, protected cove with plenty of room to anchor the stakes. Any advice on good fishing/anchoring spots near Jawbone would be greatly appreciated. My main game fish is stripers although I have caught other species as well.
Best regards,
Paul
