Mantua Tuesday 8/21 report (PICS ADDED)

Well we fished Mantua about three weeks ago and knocked the bluegill and nailed a nice LMB. So this was a return trip. No bass fishing this time since I was with my daughter (age 11) and wife and they only wanted to catch bluegill anyway. Well we got on the lake about 7:30am and had a fish in the boat by about 7:40. We ended up catching well over 125 bluegill. We kept 53 for eating that were all 8" and longer. Well we might have had a few 7 3/4" , but all were nice fish. The largest gill was 9.5". We also kept two perch (the only ones we caught) that were about 9" long. We fished until 10:45 and called it quits when the breeze came up. Before that time it was absolute glass out there.
