[cool][#0000ff]My fishing logs show that I catch cats clear up until at least mid November each year...both from Utah Lake and Willard. I never fish Bountiful Pond. Most of the poor kitties are caught out by locals as soon as it is planted. Not many holdovers.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I plan to hit Willard Bay at least once in the next week. It should be good for smaller (best eating) cats, as well as some stray wipers and walleyes. Use minnows or crawlers. Both work well. The only thing is that it might be tough if you do not have a boat, tube or toon. Most of the fish are moved into deeper water (9' - 10' or deeper) and there is nothing over about 5 or 6 feet (north marina channel) within casting distance for shore fishing.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]This fall has been a bouncy barometer time. But, the fish will still feed if you can brave the weather and if you can find them. They are trying to put on some weight for winter.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I have been out of town and out of action for a couple of weeks. I plan to change that.[/#0000ff]
