I don't blame you, aaron! i'd much rather wait a week or two, and let the ice firm up and feel safe about it, than chancing it and falling through.
I can guarantee you that if one of our BFT buddies falls through this early in the season (and hopefully it will NOT happen), that they will have second thoughts about it next time.
It's all about perspectives and not so much about trying to be the 'first one on the ice'. Although, it does make me jealous! [
