Sunday at Strawberry

After enjoying my first ice fishing trip last Sunday at the Berry, decided I needed to go again. This was short trip because I have to be at the airport in a couple of hours. Fishing strated off slow in the morning but picked up later on. It was so cold in the morning that I didn't feel like jigging. Bait fishing with a worm and mellow only got one fish. I caught seven total and six were off of tube jigs or curly tail jigs. Caught a nice fat rainbow (see picture) and the rest were cutts. I finally had to leave because I don't want to miss my flight and I wanted to be able to post a report. I was still catching fish at 10:15 when I left.

I'm starting to like this ice fishing stuff.
