I was just wondering if anyone has ever had any kind of consistent success with fishing for Walleye at Utah Lake. If so, what tips do you have for me? I really don't know much about fishing for them. I have caught a number of Walleye before, but merely by coincidence. I've caught some while bass fishing during open water periods. I've also caught some through the ice, but nothing consistent. I once caught a 17" Walleye in the Provo Boat Harbor through the ice. All I used was a whole nightcrawler on a jighead. I've tried that several times since then, but never been able to duplicate it. I've also caught probably 5 or 6 others through the ice using a tiny chartreuse grub...but those were also only 7-11" long. I would also like to know what the largest Walleye any of you have pulled through the ice at Utah Lake...thanks guys...
