I'm addicted to my Shimano's Stradic for walleyes, then I've really loved Okuma's spinning (ten ball-bearing reel) both are very smooth.

As for bass, I don't have a bait caster reel yet. I'm thinking of getting that abu Garcia's abasSadeur reel. From what I understand the speed on that reel is critical to bass.
