ill tell you this right now since i learned to use a baitcaster last year. plan on spending alot of time on how to cast it if you have never used one. and i spent about $100 on mine. have a abu garcia ambas
eur series. it works well now that i know how to use it. also plan on spending some money and about 4 spools of line. thats what i wasted learning how to cast. ill also recommend getting a casting plug so you can practice in your backyard. 1oz. should work fine. email me if you have any questions im pretty good now haha.
