][font "Arial Black"][red][size 2] Well I had to perform a little surgery on my 6hp Johnson trolling motor today. I was getting water in the foot oil and it was really nasty. [/size][/red][/font]
[font "Arial Black"][#ff0000][size 2] When I got inside the lower end, I found everything covered in a grey scum or foam. So I looked into the waterpump and found that the gasket under the pump was all messed up. So I repaired the problem and replaced the impeller and the gasket and a top seal. Tried it out in a bucket of water and all is well. Saved myself 150.00.[/size][/#ff0000][/font]
