That's funny you mention the frog flatfish thing, i've heard that from alot of the locals both the copperliners and the non. They say if you can find one of the old school flatfish with the tiny scales painted on you're in business. Copperline guys seem like they do pretty well up there, i watched an elderly gentleman catch a 24 pounder with one of those paddles not too long ago. But if you're not into the copper use downriggers with pop gear and BIG minnows or the flatfish. I'll be up there tommorrow night for 2 nights so any of y'all that wants to chat come say hello!
