Alright.. here's the thing though... I don't always favor with the republicans... BUT on this instance.. why is it extreme to agree in the 90th percentile that there is not a better option than to use OUR OWN OIL!?
If you have in your basement enough wheat to last your family 200 years.. why would you go and buy wheat from your neighbor that costs 2-300 times more than what yours in your basement costs! It makes no sense.. but the politicians that oppose it.. would rather go and "Buy from the neighbor " seemingly having no intent at all to use their own.
Like the video you referrenced earlier.. we have actually SLOWED DOWN our production of oil... and become more dependant on foreign oil.. WHEN WE HAVE ALL WE NEED!
I have a slew of grubs in my basement that I got for a good deal.. they normally sell for $6 per pack of 20.. I got them for .88 cents... Now.. Why in the world would I ever go buy more from the store for $6 when I got all I need down in my tackle room! It makes no sense.. I don't think that there would ever be anyone that you would meet ANYWHERE that would go and buy more at a price much higher than you originally paid.. and you have more than you'll ever use.. it's just plain DUMB..
However, these politicians look at us straight face and say.. "It's stupid to use that oil!.. We need to buy it from here!.. So they say that it's pollution that it will cause from the drilling process.. Very lame! you honestly think that the other country you are buying it from is going to have a Higher "world environmental awareness" than all the stinking red tape that "America" has? NOT A CHANCE.. they're just going to think.. "The americans will give me how much for this barrell?! Get it out of here!
We even threaten to start our own drilling.. the price should drop
