I was fishing out of Buckboard. The first day they were just out of the marina catching big ones but every day it seemed like the schools of bigger fish moved south. I caught a 4lb'er as far south as Squaw Hollow. I was talking to guys at the dock and asked them why they rented a slip Buckboard and not farther south and they all told me there was bigger kokes at that end of the lake. I wish I had some of the pics of the bigger ones.
Did you catch any Lakers or Rainbows down there. Those guys also if I wanted to catch big Lakers go to Anvil and fish south for really big lakers. Don't know if that is true or not but the guy did have some nice pics of a 42 lb'er that he caught trolling with steel this spring. I've read that that can cause fights.
