I hooked into him around 10:30. I just kept telling myself to stick to the AC plug and used my second pole to satisfy my need to keep changing things every 30 seconds.
I am not sure how fast I was moving. My rigg is powered by two Endura 30 trolling motors but I've got a homebrew joystick controlled PWM skidsteer controller. My LCD display isn't working yet so I just set my speed by feel, just fast enough that my line was tugging about two to four times a second. By the boat the lure was running just fast enough to roll and wobble. I tried to keep in close to the swallows.
The mods are small. I changed out the rear treble for a red, smaller, sharper one. I also have an E-Chip rigged on there, I don't know if this REALLY helps at all. Also, my AC plug is quite banged up, the finish just started peeling off the first time I used it.
Has anyone here caught anything on those really $$$ huddleston deluxe?
I just bought one of those Casitas Swimbaits, I'll have to try it out next time...
BTW: It was a 9" AC Plug Minnow Rainbow Trout.
