Hello and welcome to the party. I can understand how it is to see your favorite fishing hole high and dry...Had one myself in the back of the old government wash, now its hundreds of yards if not more from any water. The only place I have had luck from the bank in the last few years at Lake Mead is the Hole 33 area. With a long cast you can take strippers and cats from the shore there about all the year round. In the spring when the bass move up I have had some luck for largemouth there as well. It is a hike of course. I used to do well from crawdad cove but truth is I have not been there in years. Its the new site for trout plants so it should be worth a look. One of the fellows posted directions to 33 and Crawdad on one of these posts not too long ago.
