They used to plant kokanee in Deep Creek up until several years ago. I talked to Fish and Game about the kokanee they had in there. They said for some reason the kokes didn't do very well in there so they stopped planting them. I suspect the reservoir was a little small for them to do well and the water in August may have been just a little too warm also. [frown]

I ice fish not because I like the cold, it's the only time I can impress my wife by walking on water.
