Nice job on the fishing and great report. I have a number of those lures in orange, blue, silver and red but I think the last time they saw the water was in AK fishing for Grayling. (They worked really well). Never thought about using them at UT lake but appreciate the info. I'll definitely bring them next time.
I was out in the same area last Sunday and could not buy a bite. Mostly was fishing with chub minnows & worms & sardines, plus some spinner baits and senkos thrown into the weeds to try and attract a bass. Moved all over the place from West of AF Harbor to down to the bubble up. In the weeds and quite a ways out. Nothing. I think it may have been the first time I haven't caught a fish out of UT Lake in that area. The smell of the skunk was strong that day.
