Hey Lloyd !! fishing with real live bait can be very exciting !! They don't allow live minnows because they don't want the little critters moved from lake to lake to compete with the hatchery raised babies that the majority of the public pursues. So we are left to use our only legal live baits like crawlers, leeches, and crayfish. You can still do the TD thing and drag that dead minner. By the way, a Sand Bass and White Bass are the same thing. It took me awhile to catch on when I was in OK. My fishing partner was very explicit when I would talk about " white bass" and he would correct me " sand bass". Lots of wipers and stripers out there also.
