Fishlake N.P. or Boulder Mtn. area

Blue Lake and Purple Lake both have brooke trout, not particularly big and not a lot of fish. Row Lake nearby is generally planted with good numbers of rainbow. You will need a high clearance vehicle to go the last few miles (Blue and Purple). If you have a real rock crawler, Spectacle Lake (relatively near by) may still have some cutthroats. Roads to most of the lakes on the Boulders are real gear busters. There are some good brookies on the boulders, but most are going to be a hike or tough drive and most people that know which of the 70 or so lakes have good fish, will be pretty tight lipped.
