"I'm sorry" doesn't really cut it when you create a dangerous situation for others out there. Remember that, if you break the 150' rule, you are completely responsible for any damage or losses caused to the other person, whether they are on a boat, float tube, shore, etc. That includes the financial loss (poles, tackle, gear, etc that goes overboard) and loss of life.
I was in far too many scary situations on Strawberry where idiot boaters aren't paying enough attention to anyone but their own boat and I was in a 12' aluminum boat. Pretty much had to put my pole down and hang on to the two sides of the boat to keep from going over.
Please also remember that you have to be wakeless by the time you hit that 150', it doesn't mean lay off the throttle right when you get to the 150'. The most dangerous waves are the big ones caused when the boat comes off plan and digs into the water, or those created when the boat is throttling up, but isn't quite to the point where it planes out.
Just show a little more respect and responsibility by paying better attention to those around you.
And on another note, I'm all for them making a rule that allows us to use paintball guns on boats that fail to follow this law.
