Headed to Bryce Canyon, Any Advice?
#7
You can also take the johns valley rd which cuts off hwy 12 near the bryce canyon rd off hwy 12. It will shoot you over to otter creek/ sevier river area ( arround 40 miles) It's a well maintained gavel rd you can travel at 40-50 miles per hour no problem. If your not sure where it is, ask them at Ruby's inn , It's real close by.
It's paved the whole way -- been paved for years. You can do 80mph on it if you want...

Bryce Canyon sits at the doorstep of the Boulder Mountains. There are a number of good fisheries close by. Pine Lake is better than most give it credit for. There are some nice trout in there, especially considering the relatively good water years it's had recently.

Otter Creek is always a good bet, and only 40 minutes from Ruby's.
