I have a Cuda 300 as well and I haven't had it out too much. Sometimes it shows the bottom well, others it just shows broken garbage on the screen. Sometimes a ton of fish (which are false readings, otherwise I would be kicking them out of the water) and other it shows nothing. I think the temp is at least right. My main problem so far has been getting the transducer caught up in weeds. Our lakes are so full of weeds here that I can't go anywhere. The weeds wrap around the transducer and then pull me in.
