Old coot pretty much summed it up for you. If you have riggers I would try the areas that Coot told you also. If you have electronics that will help too. Nothing worse than fishing dead water which can happin pretty easy up there.

If you can troll, Try using Flatfish in Chrome colors, frog or pearch scale patterns also. Rapalas in black/white, black silver black yellow and rainbow trout have also produced fish up there over the years for me.

I would knda let the conditions dictate what you do. If the weather is nice, smooth water, then try jigging. If water is rough, windy, skiers and such, then drop the riggers and get after them. good luck, can be tough fishing up there this time of year. very hit and miss.
