new waiders leaking =(
#2
Sorry to hear of your problem . I have been through it too many times , so understand your fustration. I got up to the $200.00 range before I gave up and bought the Simms convertables.
I'm almost reluctant to bring up the Simms Convertables due to the insanely high price. There are two points that really stand out for me with them.
Point#1 I don't need to unzip the chest portion of them. They are plenty high enough for me in the Fish Cat#4 float tube I am using. I weigh 222 and bought XL I wear a #11 1/2 E and the stocking foot fits perfectly, and is at least double the thickness of Cabelas. . They are heavier weight, but not noticable to wear. They are far and above the most comfortable waders I have ever worn.
Point no#2 might interest you. THEY DON'T LEAK ------yet. lol I have only used them a couple dozen trips ,but no problems so far.
I also bought a pair of Rivendell chest waders. They have 3 grades and I got the middle one. I I paid $66 on auction, probably not a steal but I am impatient. Friends have used them a few times and they haven't leaked yet.
I hope this bit of information helps a bit. Illinoisgiller
