The color of that reel definitely looks cherry red to me. Speaking about reel color I made the mistake of getting two Orvis chrome colored Battenkill reels. Why well it is just another spooking point to the fish when the sunlight reflects the sun onto the water. My last Battenkill purchased was black and my Orvis CFOIII is brown. Now I will have to get black forceps as the my chrome one likewise reflects the sun. Oh yeah why don't they make forest green fly vests so that one blends more naturally with the background?[/size][/#008000][/font]
