Speaking about reel color I made the mistake of getting two Orvis chrome colored Battenkill reels. Why well it is just another spooking point to the fish when the sunlight reflects the sun onto the water. My last Battenkill purchased was black and my Orvis CFOIII is brown. well it came and all is well its a lot smaller than i thought it would be compared to my 5wt that measures in at 3" and it more of an anodized red than manly pink so all is well the small windings on the rod are a metallic red and match perfect now i just have to play hooky from work and try it out [cool]
