From your inquiry it sounds as though you haven't finalized a location in Mexico. In my opinion after 40 years of fishing Mexico I would recommend Zihuatanajo/Ixtapa with capt. Noe Martinez on the panga "Porphy". His specialty is Roosters inshore and tuna offshore. You'll no doubt catch sails and marlin if you're inclined. His rates are $170 USD a day and it might even be negoitated lower with the decline of American tourist into Mexico.
There are many great hotels in Zihua from $40 a night all the way to $1,0000 + in Ixtapa 10 miles away. I generally stay at the hotel Irma on the bay and walk to the marina. Rates are generally about $45 to $55 a night depending on the season. Often if I'm staying for a few days I'll rent a house...cheaper still.
Many great restaurants around Zihua and there are several you can trade part of your daily catch for meals and drinks.
If you are looking for incredible fishing, check out Zihuatanajo! You wont regret it.
Where ever you decide to go, check out the boat and crew closely. Many will take you on a boat ride and you'll be
ly disappointed at the end of the day. Noe Martinez is one of the best Mexican fisherman that I've ever had the pleasure of fishing with. He'll put you on fish. If I can help you more please feel free to send me a PM. Good Luck.
I'm not sure what the picture is that I'm attaching. The file says Zihuatanajo so I'm assuming some kind of fish I caught there through the years.
Additionally I can provide you a lot of info on Cabo as I have also fished there for many years. let me know.
