You can access the south end of Cocolalla lake by driving a little further south, accross from the Southside School road there is a roadway that takes you accross the railroad tracks and you can drive parrallel to the tracks for about 200 yards park and walk down to the ice and fish there,,, Ice is good and the fishing for perch is good but the water is a little shallower there so I'm not sure about the trout..
