[cool][#0000ff]The best area during prespawn and spawning is the rocky points to the west of road's end. It is beyond the fence line (no trespassing) so only non-english speaking people go down there to wade or cast from shore. But, if you have a tube, toon or small boat you can launch nearby and fish from off the shoreline. Lots of rocks and boulders. [/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]However, there is never the big concentration of fish there that there are at Bird Island or at Lincoln Beach. But, with less competition and fishing pressure you can sometimes score some fish.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]After the spawn the walleyes are all up and down the shoreline...especially when the white bass are spawning in May.[/#0000ff]
