it is a good road for being dirt road. You can go slow and just park at the top of the hill before it goes down to the lake. I take my car down there all of the time, but I would not do it in another persons car. Just park at the top and walk 20' to the waters edge and launch from there. Muddy days will make the road really bad, but in the summer it is usually fine.
