[#0000ff]Theories might work great on paper. The reality is that the lake has seen a tremendous surge in both numbers and size of fish since the "accidental" introduction of gizzard shad. They provide a vast new feeding resource...especially for the stripers as they grow larger and need larger food items. That takes some of the pressure off the threadfins and leave more of them for other species.[/#0000ff]
