Hite information?
#5
I was there over the weekend. I launched from Farley's without trouble, but I was pulling a 14' Crestliner with a Hyundai SantaFe, so that's a little different. But I did see people with trucks and bass boats. The biggest problem I see is getting turned around at the bottom of the ramp. I don't think the rock will be a big problem, but I was barely able to flip around to put the boat in and I'm guessing I have a lot tighter turning radius than your truck. I would say it's worth a try. Worst case scenario, you have to drive four miles back up the 95 to Hite to launch.

As for camping, we set up camp at the mouth of Farley canyon. There was a nice flat rock slab right on the water that provided an awesome campsite. Camping was just as fun as fishing.

We did make a run in the boat up to Hite to get some ice, and it looked miserable up there. It was a cluster[#bf0000](removed)[/#bf0000]of tents, trucks, and RVs. The water was 8' deep and muddy as all hell. If you have to launch from Hite, you should still go to Farley or somewhere similar to camp.
