Southern California Saltwater
Report for August 6, 2003
Way Up North-Avila
Good albie bite along with rockfish.
Up North- Channel Island
Unbelievable bite on the WSB at Channel Island Sportfishing Center over 130 today!
LA Area- Catalina Island
Calicos and Barracuda bite good
Further South- San Clemente
Calico Bite good for the boats that make it.
San Diego- Albacore and Local
Albie bite the best in years. Boats continue to get limit fishing in mexican water as well as up further north.
LA Local
Limits for a number of boats on both the sandbass and barracuda. Limiting out are a by far the 3/4 day boats. Good bite on the plastics which is fortunate because the live bait in not that fantastic as some receivers.
Other receivers have almost anything you want including squid!
