Hey there guys,
Southern California Saltwater
Report for August 9, 2003 (Saturday)
Way Up North- Avalia
Chris's and Virg's was rockfish city today!
Up North- Channel Island
CISC and Port Hueneme had quite a few WSB as well as a very nice mixed bag of all kinds of fishys. Really neat.
LA Area- Catalina Island
Calicos are steady but YT and WSB are underwhelming.
Further South- San Clemente
Calicos about the only thing worthy of note.
San Diego Local and Albies
If you want to get some albacore just go next week. Rough water may subside for awhile. Local bite? well... the usual low reports from the sporties.
LA Local
Is everybody tired of sand bass. Low numbers of anglers and thus low sand bass counts. Good barracuda counts on many boats almost matching our bass numbers.
