hey all this is my 1st post. i fish the rivers and ponds from vineyard to king hill. i have a few places i frequent more often than others: upper salmon falls project "a", lower malad, crystal lake, and box canyon for crawdads. so far weve pulled in mostly trout (8-13 inches) pikeminnows, suckers, and one little 3 ft sturgeon.
ive recently beefed up my gear a little (7ft ugly stik striper) with 150 yds 50 lb braided spiderline with +/- 75 yds 20 lb suffix lead on a quantum optix 60f (the one with the larger spool i cant find it online) so im hoping for improved chances with the bigger fish of the snake river since ive broken my line so many times.
any suggestions of places to fish in the area? where have you been and what worked for you?
