well i gave dog creek a shot on the east and west sides with a small boat. no luck. saw a bunch of perch and carp though.
i just made some catfish bait utilizing more or less the following ingredients:
white corn meal
flour
garlic
peppers
anchovies
crawdad brains and tails
fish oil
pickle juice
aged goat cheese
and some spices and salt
hopefully i can give it a shot on the boat tonight in the upper salmon falls reservoir (thousand springs area)
lake murtaugh is probably my next try for the catfish. ive seen youtube videos of catfish being caught at dierkies. can you really walk down at night as long as you dont bring a car to fish?
