I hate wind...and forecasters

Amazing what a few hundred feet can do. Salt Lake was nice and calm today and plenty hot, just like the forecast, but we were in the Uintas with wind from the get go plus all the way up and down the canyon. Rain big time till we hit Kamas. No wind and blue sky.

The Vernal report did say rain and stormy weather, that was why we changed plans.

I do like enough wind to put a chop on the water though. Just not so much as to be relocating me and the fly[laugh]
