Catfish on Ice?

Well my 5 year old son and I have a goal of getting a catfish through the ice at Willard this year. I am looking for suggestions on some ways to do this. Tubedude suggested small lures tipped with worm. I am sure that would work. Does any one else have ideas. Does any one have experience with cats through the ice at Willard?
