I was up there several weeks ago, yes we're the ones that started the keyboard war 
I'm sure the ice is still good and the fishing should be the same. When we went we barely made it up the road so I'd imagine you would need a snowmobile, unless our post brought the numbers of people up there. If so they've probably packed the road pretty good. I've spent the last couple weekends at viva naughton
