Looks like someone did catch a bass!
And indeed - a nice brown. I think I wrassled with a couple of those. They do put up more of a fight than some of the planter-bows. Though I will say - all them trout sure do get wild and floppy as soon as they get out of the hole.
Seen lots of chunky browns up Black Smith Fork - along the river. There's some beasts up at the Pig too.

And what - no Princess Pole this time?
I gotta go see the glass ice that it's turned into. Hope the edges don't soften up. Haven't tried tipping with powerbait. My son found pockets of powerbait in the ice and was determined to get them out with the auger. They sure glowed in there, but there's nothing to "get" I tried to explain.
Ah - kept him busy. So did the perch. Did you find any of those?
