Float tube question
#2
The foam seat can be replaced with the inflatable which can be adjusted to fit my needs. You can find the inflatable on the creek company website and it is expensive but sometimes goes on sale for almost half price. I have also used a 1.5" closed foam cushion cut to size from an old pool float on top of the seat. I punch a couple of holes in the foam and tie the cushion around the upright section of seat with a short piece of rope. Then by adjusting the rope tension, a "pocket" can be created behind that holds your butt in place. Works for me anyway, at 6' and 180#...

[quote Fishtales23]I recently bought an ODC420 tube. I fished in it and felt like I was sliding forward, and every once in a while, I'd have to adjust my sitting position so I sat farther back on the seat.

Does anyone know the difference in seating with the 420 vs. the Fat Cat? I'm wondering if the Fat Cat has a "deeper" seat?
