I bought some fly tying gear a few years back. I don't have a fly rod/reel, but I use the water bobber method, with a really long fluorocarbon lead. I caught stocker trout on every pattern I tied, but those things will bite anything at times.
I'm not pro at tying yet, but still manage to get out some decent flies. These are the first and only flies I have made so far.
I have lots of San Juan material, and Hackle left if anyone needs some, I dont plan on making to many more flies.
