It should work fine depending on how you attach it to the toon. You might be able to do some kind of "flip up and lock" attachment or you could remove them and either tie them on to the pontoon rack or tote them back to your truck.

Flip up might be in the way of a motor if you use one.

You could use a pair of "butterfly pipe clamps on the back of your rack.
