First Time Strawberry Fisher, Help Please!

I have some tentative plans to take my new to me fishing boat out to Strawberry probably the soldier creek side either this weekend or early next week and I just want to have a good time/catch some good fish. I have had some good luck trolling with needlefish lures at deer creek this year, I am fairly new to boat fishing, just don't know if I'm supposed to do it the same everywhere or what. Any help on where to go or what to use would be greatly appreciated. reply or PM me if you feel more comfortable with that. Thanks!
