Next time you catch a carp, hold onto it and ring the dinner bell!
You'll need:
1 Carp
1 Damp pine or cedar plank
1 whole chopped onion
2 Tsp Fresh Garlic
1 Sprig of fresh Sage and Basil
1 tbsp Garlic Salt, fresh black pepper
1.) Take your carp, clean, and let rest open side down on the pine or cedar plank in your fridge for at least 12 hours.
2.) Combine all of your ingredients in a bowl with a tablespoon of olive or vegetable oil. After 12 hours, fill the carp with your combined ingredients, cover carp and plank with foil and let cook in a conventional oven for 1 hour at 300 degrees F.
3.) Once plank's edges have browned, remove from oven and let cool.
4.) When plank is cool to touch, throw away carp and filling and eat the plank with a wedge of lemon.
ENJOY!
