Yep - you hit the nail - all hush hush 'bout musky!
I've never caught one through the ice, but it is on this year's quest list. I'm no musky expert, but I have found em, got bit, fought, landed, broked off too. Fun action in any case!

So where do you plan to try? I'm closer to Newton than Pineview - but hope to try both this year.
I have a jig that was real effective in the fall - and don't know why it wouldn't work under ice too.
Couple toyz/toolz I plan to try:
the [#ff0000]Grabb-it[/#ff0000] hook holder and remover
the [#ff0000]JawJacker[/#ff0000] - like a downrigger for ice-fishing
A [#ff0000]Berkely lip-gripper[/#ff0000], has a very long arm to it
The magic jig is a [#ff0000]Bagley Belly Button[/#ff0000] Perch pattern - tipped with a strip of perch, or worm
Plus - catching a Musky on the underwater camera would be really wicked!
