Embarrassing Moments

3) End of the day fishing we are headed back to the truck. Kids have been sledding down the access point all day it's slicker than snot. Me and one buddy pulling the rope and sled up the hill, another buddy pushing the sled from behind. Me and the first buddy lose our footing and let go of the rope, sled takes out buddy behind in the shins and he's down. Slid all the way to the bottom of the hill holding his chair above his head....look on his face as he's going down is priceless.

Yep thats about the way it happened....

I went to sulphur early this season...about 6 inches of ice. by myself, everyone else was busy. I caught several rainbows but I also missed a few bites. One particular bite I missed kinda ticked me off so I reeled my curly tailed jig up pretty fast to rebait. as it got close to the hole I could see it in the water. All of a sudden a 15 inch rainbow cam flying up in the hole after my jig. Startled me so I jumped back, fell off my bucket, jerked my rod up.....snagged the rainbow with my jig as I yanked it up...flipped him out on the ice. After I got everything gather up and decided the fish was okay. put him back and started laughing at myself. The guys a little ways off must have thought i was crazy...laughing all by myself!!
