converting hand auger to power auger with hand drill?

anyone do this? anyone have pics or a set of plans? my buddy did this and said it was awesome. I am not as mechanically qualified as him. and just looking for some set instructions with reviews from someone on here. thanks for any help. sick of having to have razor sharp blades all the time and they're expensive.
