converting hand auger to power auger with hand drill?

After reading the post in the link I made my own adapter just like his. I have a rigid 18 volt lithium ion and have used it all season with a 8 inch auger and have had great success and will never go back to doing it by hand or getting a gas auger. The cold don't seem to affect the batteries to much. The other day a hyrum I drilled 18 holes with one battery and I could have done more. I have two batteries and I don't usually drill more then 15 holes. I think its all about having a good drill. Plus I get to use my drill all year just not during the ice season.
