Grantsville is one of those put and take fisheries. I doubt it's been stocked recently so there aren't going to be many fish to begin with. In the winter food is scarce. Fish will congregate at certain depths or parts of the lake where food is present, and sometimes in the winter that means deep. It's really no secret, you just have to fish where the fish are! A boat with a fish finder can be a great tool for locating fish and that could explain why they were catching some. If you're not getting bites in a particular location you should pack up and move.
