Try bowhunting. That's how I started as a kid, and I started when I was 16 and old enough to drive myself. Look for a good bow after this year's season that you can pick up used, and practice all summer. Then next year you'll have a car and be able to hunt the bow hunt.

You also need to find your deer before the season starts. Know his patterns and be there waiting for him on the morning of the first day of the hunt.
